If I heat the rotor near the hub don’t I run the risk of liquifying the wheel bearing grease in the hub and having it run out?

Tried for brake job yesterday. Front brake rotor on above vehicle was rust welded to the hub. I have not done brake work to this car since we bought it. Acquired from a dealership who had maintained it. Am I really to believe dealer didn’t wire brush hub face and lightly coat with grease on last bra...

Handled by local mechanic with impact wrench.

Subsequest issue was 17 years of rust welding defeating Kroil and my recently-acquired impact.

Looking to replace rear shocks. Can’t get the 10mm nut that holds the top shock mount in place to thread down on the strut rod. I assume the mount should be rigidly fixed, not flopping around.
