I've had a S70 for the past 7 years. Advice from this forum and its members have saved my behind numerous times. Nevertheless, I no longer own a Volvo and don't plan on getting one in the future. Hopefully, I won't offend anyone when I say...Volvos are unnecessarily over engineered maintenance hogs ...

Ironically, I changed the spark plugs about 5k miles ago, with NGK brand. They weren't the cheapest but priced mid range. So, I thought they should be ok. Bougicord ... Is this the park plug brand or the wire brand?

My mpg fule economy has doubled in the last week plus a noticible loss of power. Today, it stareted running rough + super high fuel consumption (45 mile trip=6 Gallons) + loss of power. Yet there is no code. Any ideas?

If you take the car somewhere/anywhere to fix it will cost you a lot! But I'm sure you knew that. The main bearing/clutch on the compressor failed on my car. The compressor was fine, but in order to get the bearing and clutch out, I had to get the compressor out. It was just easier to replace the ...

How do I get the clutch out?
I've taken the 10mm nut off from the center of the clutch plate. Don't want to pry or force anything and risk damaging anything. There must be a method...anybody done this before ...ideas?
