Even though the distributor cap is new, it can still get wet inside because the seal isn't water tight.

Does anybody know how to adjust the idle speed on my car? I saw a small black knob on the the air intake. I would upload a picture, but i'm not sure how to post it here. Thanks in advance

Look at fuse #11 in your fusebox panel. It is probably burnt out. I had that problem once when the rear window demister switch shorted out.

I'm not sure about if this will work on your car, but on mine, you can take out the glove box and you can see the wiper linkage from there. Again I'm not too sure... I have a 1985 240... Just a guess
