you might also have a problem with overboost in cold weather, just watch it, it will get better in warmer weather

another possible reason for the horn relocation is so that more air can get to your intercooler (if you have a turbo). but you're right, the main reason is probably the ugliness of the horns. I just took mine off, who needs horns anyways.
