Local O'Reilly's says their INNOVA 3120 will do the trick.
I've also seen some posts on various forums about AUTEL code scanners.
Curious as to what other forum members use regularly and what results they've had.
Thanks!

suddenly, it starts running really rough...
1999 S80 T6. Car was running great and then suddenly acted like it dropped a cylinder. Very rough running, check engine light on with "Emissions Service Required" displayed.
I suspect a bad coil (it eats these like candy) or a spark plug....any other ideas before I have it towed?
Thanks!

Re: Serpentine Belt Replacement S80
While I was replacing the alternator the other day I too thought, "Hmmmm....how FAWKED would it be to have to replace the belt (something I really wanted to do...) as I see NO WAY to get it off the harmonic balancer." I would appreciate this information, too...if it is the same for a 1999 ...

Re: $2,200 to repair leaking power steering rack....
I wish I knew of someone around here who could do the repair for that! God knows I have tackled some tough car problems over the years and have pulled countless engines and transmissions from dozens of cars in the 30+ years I have been around vehicles...but I just don't have the motivation these day...

$2,200 to repair leaking power steering rack....
So....I've been noticing a small leak on my garage floor turn into a larger one. Last time this happened I took the car in and they said they found a hose with a 'loose clamp'. So they tightened it up and for months...no leak. Now the leak has returned with vengeance, and I got a quote of $1,546 for...

Re: Passenger window regulator well and truly hosed up....
I got the riveter from a specialty tool store locally, paid $60 for it. There are others out there of the same design for half that price if you search around a bit. For the lube, I used Liquid Wrench white lithium grease in the spray can. Use care to keep it from getting on...EVERYTHING..., and a l...

Re: Passenger window regulator well and truly hosed up....
SUCCESS! I was able to straighten on the arm once I took it out and then re-installed it, lubed up the window channel, and all is well again. Thanks so much for all the help. Here is a picture of the riveter that I bought, as well as the rivets. I was not able to get the factory rivets but found som...

Re: Passenger window regulator well and truly hosed up....
Bajaman, I wonder if you could straighten the bent arm and then weld some reinforcement along the edge? Also, I think it would be prudent to look for the cause of the window binding up in the first place. It must have really been stuck to cause the arm to bend like that. If you don't correct it, th...

Re: Passenger window regulator well and truly hosed up....
You're welcome. This one on Amazon says it has a 3" nosepiece: https://www.amazon.com/Astro-Pneumatic-4-Inch-Riveter-3-Inch/dp/B00061SFDM/ref=sr_1_17?ie=UTF8&s=hi&qid=1238994061&sr=1-17 That one looks like it would be perfect, and very reasonably priced too. Once again...I can't th...

Re: Passenger window regulator well and truly hosed up....
I am looking at that....man, I don't know. I need to get a minimum of 3 inches deep to get to the regulator. I found a Mac tool, part number RG300-ext but there is no picture of it. I sent them an e-mail asking for details on the reach. It says it is used for window regulators, amongst other things....
