I'm pretty certain my AC compressor bearing is bad, as the whine only occurs while the clutch is engaged. Without a wholesale changing the compressor, can the bearing be pulled while connected by moving the compressor around with enough wiggle room? I did read another thread here about it but no res...

There is a lower level. The front of box slides up, the + terminal nut has to be unscrewed. There are tabs around perimeter of the top layer you push away from the edges they clip over, and then lift the top up. Disconnect battery before doing all of this.
