The most likely candidate for intermittant stalling on these are 3 things (I had a car that had all 3 go wrong @ once... what a nightmare) 1st, the FI relay. As they get old, the solder holding the relay to it's board cracks, causing an intermittant failure of the FI and ignition system. Relatively ...

Make sure the flame trap isn't plugged, causing pressure in the crankcase to force oil out. That can cause all kinds of leaks. And the oil cap gaskets are prone to getting brittle and causing crappy seals, too. Check and see if the oil cap stays in place @ idle if you unscrew it. Normally, the vacuu...

Your 89 does not have a sensor on the crank (came a year later) It's on the distributor, on the back of the motor, check on the bottom (6:00 position) for a little plastic clip with wires coming from it. These little clips br...

High NOX are product of high cumbustion temps, caused by a couple things. Vacuum leaks, causing a lean mixture drive it up. You changed the O2 sensor, which richened the mixture (CO went from .02 to 1.13,). Still passed, and brought down NOx by 20%. So maybe check the mixture. It may still be a litt...
