Re: Trouble With Dice Connection
Have you tried uninstalling the ".NET FIRMWARE"? If your lights are flashing, but your computer isn't recognizing the DICE this is likely your problem. It took weeks, numerous attempts, lots of research and all I needed to do was uninstall .NET FIRMWARE.

Re: Trouble With Dice Connection
I believe you also need 4GB of Ram, at least 40GB of memory, Windows 7 Pro (what Volvo recommends), and INTERNET EXPLORER 8. IE8 was something that was causing me problems too. Also-- I have had to move the plug from USB port to USB port from time to time. (I'm a Mac guy-- these PCs throw me off-- I...

Re: Trouble With Dice Connection
If you're mistaken and you are actually trying to use the Dice tool with VIDA and not VADIS... Then I think I know what your problem is. I too bought a laptop to only use with VIDA/Dice. I followed all instructions from a youtube video I found, but for some reason the Dice connector wasn't recognize...

Re: 2003, S60 - CV tripod (inner joint) stuck in trans
Thanks for your feedback! The car sat all winter as I don't have a garage to work in and was waiting for warmer weather. The RH side was pretty rusty-- much more than any 850, S70 or V70 splines that I recall... Must not get as lubricated as the older models. I don't know if my OEM slide hammer will...

2003, S60 - CV tripod (inner joint) stuck in trans
HELP!!! I've encountered the most stubborn CV Plunge Joint ever! This nightmare is stuck in transmission (LH side) and is not coming out. This isn't my first rodeo either-- but this one has me waiving the white flag. It's defeated me and I'm coming to you all for help/advice! My 1st round of attempt...

Re: Master cylinder replacement
Here's a great analogy: when you shotgun a beer there isn't any air getting in your mouth, just cold beer :) . If you chug a beer without poking a hole in the bottom it goes down a lot slower (because air needs to fill the void in the can). That's how this works. Beer (or brake fluid) is heavier tha...

Re: Master cylinder replacement
If you open the reservoir cap, then the bleed screws the gravity method is fine (unless your car is on its roof). If you open a bleed screw and then the reservoir cap you will get air bubbles in the lines. Gravity bleeding is a great way to renew caliper fluid as long as the level in the master cyli...

Re: '96 960 Wagon popping noise when turning
Can these be sprayed with WD-40 like a 240 Steering U-Joint?
Or is there another trick? Any way to test? Will it not make a knock when the suspension is loaded?
