Did the V70 headliner fit into the 850? If so, how did you deal with the climate sensors by the front grab handles?

I need to replace my 850 Wagon headliner and wondering if this is still a good option.

looking for the "upside down L" painted metal trim that goes on the rear quarter glass of an 850 wagon or 98-00 V70. Looking for a set (left and right) in 019 black, if the paint is in good shape. It comes off by removing the two torx screws near the front, then sliding it forward.

Did a compression test last night, was fine, 180, 178, 179, 174, 180. I guess I'll just drive it and hope for the best.

So I replaced the water pump, flushed out the system repeatedly and the glitter keeps showing up in the coolant. I had already replaced the radiator and heater core as well.

So what's left? The only think I can think of that coolant flows through is the oil cooler and the turbo.

Any thoughts? What ...

The water pump is a Volvo pump (says Volvo on it). I'm guessing its the original pump. They previous owner who replaced the engine said he pulled it from a 2005 S60 T5 with about 70K on it.

Ok, thanks. I will continue to monitor it. We have two 850s and I have never seen this glitter in the coolant of their engines.

In my 1999 V70 that I just bought, which has a 2004 or 2005 S60 T5 engine in it, I replaced the radiator and heater core, since they were both leaking.

When I drained the coolant, there was a bunch of silvery specks in it, looks like glitter. I think it is aluminum since it did not attract to a ...

So I fiddled with it some more, gave the glass a push while holding the switch, and it went up. Still not sure what the issue was, but it goes up now on its own.
