T5 2006 Volvo s60

https://www.volvopartswebstore.com/images/parts/volvo/fullsize/GR-258104.jpg I just picked up a T5 and looking to do my Breather box which is really clogged, I could use it to inflate balloons. I usually clean out the PTC as part of the job. I'm use to s60 2.5T. PTC set up but the one on the T5 look...

Gap on strut

Just got a 2005 s60 and i noticed there is a gap on the top of the strut. Structs seem fairly new.
Could I just tighten the top bolt or were they installed wrong.

Car handles bumps fine.

How do I test AWD on a XC

Look to test drive a 2000 XC70. Like to make sure AWD is functioning. Is there a road test I can do? Also will check for leaKage at angle gear. Is there any other part I should check.

breather box insights ( Banjo bolt type) (lengthy)

This is the 3rd breather box I've done on the s60/v70 2005-2009. The youtube video from FCP makes it look easy,,, its not. The s70's were so much easier. First of all you don't need to replace the aluminum pipe, it's expensive and unlike the plastic on the s70 it doesn't break. You also don't have t...

removal of sepentine belt 2009 s60

Trying to removal the serpentine belt of 2009 s60. I have done these on 2005 and lower but not on a 2009. Don't see where to put the tool in for the tensioner, Is there a plastic cover on the tensioner?

If so how do it get the cover off

xc70 2008 any insights

Been a Volvo owner since 1988, however no little about the newer 2008+. I'm going to look at a xc70 2008 any ideas of the issues with the newer 3.2. I had an xc70 2006 with the normal valve body transmission issues. Does the 2008 have the same issues? Is the breather box setup the same? Any thoughts...

AW42AWD / 4T65 Transmission

Have had numerous volvos over the years. 4 speed trans and the notorious AW55-50SN.

Does anyone no if the AW42AWD / 4T65 Transmission which is a GM has the same failure rate as the Aisin (valve body etc)

xc70 2008 transmission

I had a xc70 2007 that developed issues with its valve body. Typical thud when slowing down or delayed shifting at lower speeds.

Had drain and fill twice and software updates resolved problem a little but still there

I am looking at a 2008 xc70. Do they have same tranny issues?

Re: s70 2000 glt

I am also getting a growly gnarly, traces of oil in timing area, check engine on( timing). I have yet to take cover off. My volvo mechanic who moonlights from volvo told me to take cover off and start engine when it's cold. If hub is bad should see it have play.

Damn are these hubs expensive.
