The other day I tried unlocking the driver via key remote. The lock made a jackhammer sound and the button did not pop up and the door remained locked. Do I need to replace the entire lock? How easy is it to open the door panel?

I have checked the allianment at 2 different shops both said that it was OK. I check my tire pressure regularly (32psi front and back)

I bought my V70 2 1/2 years ago. In that time period I have went through 3 sets of front tires. The tread wears on the outer and inside edges. My mechanic said that it was a common issue with Volvos because of the tight turning radius.

The dash was probably was removed at some point for a new evaporator and whoever did it, did a poor job, overtightened one of the dash clips and it broke! Don't know if this is a common problem but my dash board squeeks while I am driving. Everytime I hit a bump in the road it squeeks. Any ideas on how to fix this?
