Volvo experienced shop in Laramie, WY
I recently started working at a shop in Laramie Wyoming. The owners name is Bob, and he is the most Volvo experienced tech I have worked with. The shop only works on imports, and specializes in Volvo, with many Volvo parts and tools on hand. He is ASE master certified, and seems to be well known in ...

Agreed, probably a mount. Does it vibrate at the same rpm in neutral?

Re: POLL = How often would you need a wheel allignment?
I check my alignment when I put new tires on the car. Even then their are usually no adjustments to make. (not that without bending parts much can go wrong, nothing is adjustable in the rear, and only a toe adjustment in the front unless you buy a camber kit). All that to say, these cars have good, ...

Re: Baffled! Starved for fuel.
I have seen fuel filters cause this problem on various cars, several times. I always start with the cheap/ maintenance possibilities first.

Re: Fast Friday #1
It's nice to have a car you aren't as afraid to blow up! When i got my 94 850 turbo, I took it to the tuner day at Bandimere. When i bought it, supposedly it had an IPD stage 1 tune and nothing else. My best time was a 15.007. And frankly the car wasn't in that great of shape and I didn't have a ver...

Re: 450-500hp on stock internals..?
The shop I work at has a dyno. My 98 T5 manual, with a eurosport cat back exhaust did 256 and 330 ft lbs. (note, we are at high altitude and the dynojet compensates for sea level and a several other factors). The un-corrected hp was 211.

Re: Denver: have a white 850R? I saw you on I-25.
I saw a BEAUTY white 850R sedan on I-25 last evening. If you're reading this, I have a message for you: H3ll yea! (It was immaculate, dark tint, exterior perfect, from what I could see. Fast too, he gave me a demo.) What color is your 850? I didn't realize you were so close to me, I'm down in the L...
