Re: Best year for an 850
To each his own but I beg to differ on this point. The S70 interior looks cheesy like a Ford Taurus, especially the CC and radio controls. The instrument cluster does look better though. The door panels look more modern(can't say that's a good thing) since every one I have seen, the vinyl in the con...

Re: Front spring seats.........
Ozark.. they are way more than a "tad" different, in design. They are big time different. It makes no difference if a newer version is "meatier" or not, it's a bad design overall. In more than 20 years experience with euro and japanese, this is the first car I have seen that is t...

Front spring seats.........
First off, I just have to say..............holy fu@%!! These spring seats were designed to FAIL. There is no way they could not fail. I am surprised the originals made it over 100k miles. I purchased the heavy duty versions and will be surprised if they make it over 20k miles. I have had a lot of ex...

Re: Just replaced headliner in Wagon
For $120, I'd pay to have it done. Scrubbing off the old foam is a hassle and nasty.

Actually, for a sedan. Would you say its easy for the average joe to do in his driveway on a sunny day, or should i just shell out the 120?

Re: Just replaced headliner in Wagon
Thanks. On a sedan, 2 cans would be plenty. On a wagon, 3 cans was stretching it. I wished I had had 4 cans. To get good coverage, you have to make 2 passes on each surface and I had to run it light in the flat areas. In the high stress/concave areas, I put it on a bit thicker. You did a top notch j...

Just replaced headliner in Wagon
And it was a pain! Getting the headliner shell out was easy enough but getting the new material to fit in the concave areas was quite difficult And cutting out for all the holes took forever. It was hanging down in the left rear seat area and bugged me so I had to change it. I had changed a few head...
