Re: 850 parts suppliers reference

thanks to all who posted on this... great feedback saved me more time and $ than I would have by dealing with the cheapest of suppliers. Got the car fixed real nice with parts from various recommendations, and a great mechanic who works for $45.00 here in Ontario ( when everyone else is $90.00?hr++)...

Re: 960 WITH 300K'S

Intake runners near manifold? new exhaust 6 months ago, with oxy sensors, and cat. Is the pcv an issue on 960's. no mention of it on receipts but no symptoms either ( smoke from dipstick, rear end or oil on valve cover etc). Pain to replace in 850 how is it on 960? tires 1 year old 40k, with even we...

960 WITH 300K'S

Hello everyone! Just picking up fantastic 1996 volvo 960 with 302,000k's on it ( yes it was a great price!) The car condition is extremely over the top clean and really well maintained based on the available receipts. - regular oil and fluid changes, wear items ( belts, timing belt), seals and gaske...

Re: 850 heated seat not working

it is as described in previous posts. the hog rings are the biggest issue, but once you get past that stage of the game, you should be good. the heat pad is surprisingly easy to remove as mine was simply placed between foam and leather.

After purchasing an 850 non turbo for my wife, I have the pleasure of replacing various "wear and tear" parts. after researching the net, UAP, NAPA, and volvo dealer for parts, I have come across a parts supplier here in Canada (subisdary of U.S parent company) which $ is almost too good t...

850 start up smoke

Season Greeting Everyone! Hope you have a safe and happy holiday where every you may be. No doubt I'll need your help in the future for sure! With that, wife's 850 blows some smoke at start up, and after idling for 3-5 minutes. after a 3,000rpm for 10-15 sec seems to "clean" things up, but...

good day people, checking out online parts for my 850. Need a passenger side front control arm (lower) with ball joint etc. question: does anyone know of "partsonline.com" or more specifically "partsonlinecanada.com". Here in Ontario, I checked with UAP and NAPA and both are tell...

Re: 850 heated seat not working

The seat heated for only a couple of days after I found the broken wire.
I'll have to venture into removing the seat cover to get to the heat element. I found a heat pad at an automotive electronics store for $15.00 new. might give it a try.
I just HAVE TO FIX it!:)
