so say the pads are somewhere around 6-7.5 mm left, how long should that last me before i should probably replace them? Because depending on the time, i could just deal with it until i need new pads.

Josh, Most likely the squeeking is from the rear...though it sounds like from the front. The brake pad repacement procedure between the 850 and S70 is almost identical!
