okay, i know a month or two ago i posted about squeeling brake pads, but i had another question. I dont know that much about cars, but i am going to try my best in putting in new rear and front pads and rotors because they seem to be about time for all 4.

so say the pads are somewhere around 6-7.5 mm left, how long should that last me before i should probably replace them? Because depending on the time, i could just deal with it until i need new pads.

I took off both a front wheel and back wheel today with one of my friends who is a mechanic, and he was going to show me how to put in new brake pads, but he said (and showed me) that my pads were still around 3/4 cm thick, which he said were not that close to needing new pads. He drove it ...

Most likely the squeeking is from the rear...though it sounds like from the front. The brake pad repacement procedure between the 850 and S70 is almost identical! Use the 850 instructions and go for it. You will however need the 7mm hex socket to get the calipers loose. Also, make sure to use ...
