Fuel filler collar problem V70 2006

Hi; I am wondering if anybody has had an issue with filling their car with fuel?

If I put the gas pump in and give it a full squeeze, the fuel comes shooting straight back out of the collar so I am having to squeeze gasoline in super slow now.

Let me know if you are familiar with what is happening ...

Re: Snow Tire Questions for V70

Hi Bill; thanks very much for the information.

I spoke to a guy at trirerack.com and he said I would be fine with 205/555/16's. I asked about Bridgestone Blizzaks and he recommended a Bridgestone WS60 which I'm guessing is a more aggressive snow tire.

Is it a general rule that the better the grip ...

Snow Tire Questions for V70

Hi; I have a set of 205/55/16 Pirelli snow tires on my wagon and the grip is terrible.

My friend advised going to a 195 or even 185 profile in a 65 series but the folks at tireack.com say I have the correct tires on.

Does anyone have any advice on this subject?

Also, my mechanic has a set of snow ...

15" wheels on a 2006 V70 ?

I jsut purchased a 2006 V70 with 17" rims. I am preparing to get winter tires and a friend offered me snow tires of 15" steel rims for an 850.

My questions are

a) would these wheels fit OK

and

b) would this type of change mess with the speedometer or fuel sensors?

Thanks, Mike

Re: Can you switch rims from 740 to V70 ?

Thanks very much for the information.

When you say that they will stick out 20mm too far, do you mean that you cannot properly tighten the nuts when the rim is placed on the studs?

Thanks, Mike

Rear wheel drive 740 rims fit on V70?

Hi; I just joined the forum but go back a long way with Volvo's. I've owned everything from a 144, P1800 coupe right up to my latest purchase, a 2006 V70 2.5T.

I have a set of 16" windmill rims from my old 740. Would these fit on my 2006 V70? I'm not sure if the bolt pattern is the same or if there ...
