If you can't find PBlaster try asking for a strong penetrating oil. Thanks. Will look around I am sure there's something like that here. By the way, I am looking to try using carb or intake cleaner. Maybe the egr valve is stuck opened cause of carbon built up. Does anyone know which vacuum line we ...

Re: Fire trap, is it really that important to look after?
I thought you said yours was missing? The flame trap thing is not there but the housing that connects to the airbox hose is still there (empty housing) and the diagram provided suggests to blow a compressed air into it. Sorry if I didn't make it clear enough. And I was bit confused...I didn't reali...

Re: Fire trap, is it really that important to look after?
Thanks for that diagram. I have a little air compressor that I use for painting air brush (6 hp engine) would this enough to try blowing through the flame trap hole? What would I be looking for by doing that? Do I need to get the engine running?

Re: Fire trap, is it really that important to look after?
I just noticed when I open up the hose that's connecting the airbox and the throttle body that the flame trap is already gone missing... It appears the mechanic where I took the car for service took it out.
