I can open the driver's door and get in under the hood, but I don't know just where to jump the car from. Which wire to hook cables up to.

OK just so I'm on the same page, this is a V70 wagon with a hatch back.
There is a black plastic covering that holds the two license plate lights and handle to open said hatch back. Would this be the where the key cylinder would be?

V75 T5 2001 Electrical Failure
Car was lock on driveway all day, alarm started to go off. Got alarm off car would not turn over. Hours later no power at all couldn't even open electronic locks. How do you open the rear hatch to get to the battery to see if this is the problem to start with? Also there was a strange buzzing coming...
