If I had subtracted time that I took breaks, id say I took me about 6 hours. My skill level is probably on the low side, but its getting better (hopefully).

Sorry to keep rehashing this, I just want to make sure I don't order the wrong stuff and have an issue when I have my car aken apart this weekend. So this is the list of parts in the PCV kit for the Volvo.

Now when the list says short hose to top of engine block, and hose to top of engine, do I need to order those or can ...

So just to make sure I understand, If I am doing the PCV Mod, I would order:

Heater Hose with ID = 5/8”, $6 for 6-foot roll at Advance Auto Parts.

So it appears I am needing to do the PCV cleaning, and I am having a hard time figuring out what to buy.

I see from thread surfing that IPD or FCP kits are the most popular, but some people have been critical of the parts quality in these. I have seen suggestions that range from ordering the FCP ...

so I was checking the oil to see about possible overfill, and the dipstick didn't register any oil, I had to add 4 quarts of oil to the tank. So I figure either A. a really bad leak. or B. the oil change people forgot to fill the oil.
