I had the same problem but mine was on the left front. Ends up that my whole light connection was shot, the dealer charged me $35 to change it out. They were under there fixing something up and I think they just charged me for the part. I looked at it after and I am sure you can do yourself.

After reading over other a/c posts, I am leaning towards the compressor clutch. Any thoughts anyone?

I checked out your post but I am still not sure. The blower is one of the things that everyone checked and is fine. Any other thoughts?

Thats an interesting point because my guy has checked the sensors by the compressor and they were fine but he didn't check the compressor itself.
