Re: 1995 855 NA: Sudden stall/off while idling
A cheap tire pressure gauge of the stick type can be used to check pressure using the fuel rail Shraeder valve. Turn the ignition on to 2 so you can hear the pump prime (hopefully!). Then test the pressure. Not really accurate but if you see say 36psi or higher it should start and run. It will ...

Re: 1995 855 NA: Sudden stall/off while idling
What spark plugs are you using? They are probably passed their best at 50k miles.
It is unfortunately time to go through the basics. Test the fuel pressure for around the 43 psi range.
IAC with a high mileage engine may need cleaned from time to time. It is unlikely needing replaced at this ...

Re: 1995 855 NA: Sudden stall/off while idling
When were cap, rotor, and plugs last changed ?
Make sure the idle control valve is clean and the connector is tight and Clean.
It does sound a bit like an electrical bus failure, but start with Stage0, then move to battery cables, and ignition switch, electrical part.
Let us know if you need ...

1995 855 NA: Sudden stall/off while idling
The sudden stall/off (similar to shut off) incident happened 3 times since early last week. The first time was in last week, early in the morning after I started the car on driveway to warm up the car in cold morning. When I went back to the car from house, the car was already "stopped". All the ...

Re: 850 Heating Problems
I had the same problem with MCC mode selector got stuck and could not select defrost. I also asked this question back then in this forum. I followed the suggestion and checked the MCC cables which controlled the open/close of those vent flaps. That was no luck. Finally, I found a used MCC control ...

Re: CE light on
Probably a vacuum leak somewhere. Can you read fuel trims with your current tools/ instrument set?
I checked the vacuum elbow this morning and found nothing in that area. So far, CE light is still off after 1 day of driving.
Since my wagon is 1995 model so it only provides the OBD-I interface in ...

Re: CE light on
Thank you for the information. Does the NA 850 has that elbow hose too ? I thought that only turbo 850 has the elbow hose of the intake manifold.
I will take a look tomorrow.

CE light on
Yesterday, CE light turned on while driving on highway. Car was driving fine with the light ON. I checked the DTC code this morning, A2, 232. It meant : Long term fuel trim, idling. For the time being, I erased the code and turned off the CE light. I will drive the car tomorrow and see whether the ...
