Recalls
I was on line and noticed that there have been a number of recalls for potentially my 2002 volvo s60 (http://repairpal.com/volvo-s60-2002/recalls_and_tsbs). As the second owner of the car will volvo do the recall work if there is an issue with the vehicle? I do not have my vehicle serviced at the ...

Re: Cam sensor on 2002 s60
The cam sensor came in finally (10 days), I replaced it ($49), it was very easy (5 minutes). The mechanic wanted $465! Well it still ran very rough, like it was misfiring. The mechanic said when I brought it to him first that the ignition coils in cylinders 2 and 3 need to be changed and the cam ...

Re: Cam sensor on 2002 s60
Thanks, I could not afford to have it done at the shop, so I had it towed to my house, that was last Friday. I paid them $78 for the diagnosis. When I went to look at it Saturday, they had left a box of bolts on my passenger seat, the engine cover off, and all the ignition coils disconnected. I did ...

Cam sensor on 2002 s60
While driving home the other day the car just died, I had it brought to the shop. They diagnosed it saying it needed new spark plugs, and new ignition coils, and a new cam sensor ($765). I had just changed the spark plugs, all 5, and an ignition coil the previous week (thank you forum) and it had ...

Re: 2001 V70 2.4T bad ignition coil replacement...
I dont usually have the nerve to tackle anything too elaborate when it comes to my 2002 S60, but after this post, with the tremendous pictures I decided to give it a go. I followed all the instructions, in fact I went ahead and replaced all the spark plugs, as well as the ignition coil in question ...
