I unplugged the MAF sensor and the engine RPM increased slightly. Plugged it back in and the RPM dropped back to the original RPM. So what does this mean?

Geeze. I see the two pins plain as day now. Thank you for straightening me out. I didn't know I had a PTC let alone knowing what it is. So, having it disconnected has done what to my engine performance?

I was working inside the engine compartment and noticed an unconnected electrical connector underneath the ABS module. It had oil and dirt on it and appears to not have been connected for a while. I am always working on the car and I could have disconnected it to get access to something but just for...
