Has anyone changed the serpentine belt on the 3.2 engine? I'm having to replace the AC compressor and the belt has some cracks. I'm also replacing the idler and tensioner pulleys while I've got it apart.

The cables used for gear linkage have a guide sleeve so that the cable can be pushed as well as pulled. If something was wrong with the cable it could block travel so that it can't go to Park position. Take the cable loose on trans end and try it.
