Does the vehicle tires need to be on the floor( pre load) before torqueing the nuts ?
Thanks

99 v70 Rear hatch lock actuator
Hi All, My rear hatch lock actuator only works when the hatch is in the up position. If I move the hatch down a little bit, the actuator does not lock or unlock. The rest of the locks actuate whether the hatch is up or down. Want to know if anyone has experienced this and to please share the fix. Th...

Re: 1999 V70 XC Oil Cooler Bypass (oil in coolant)
Aloha, Thanks for all the replies! I found an oil cooler donor in a recycle yard and will try my luck on that. I had a similar posting back in March of 2011, the same issue I was having now. I was flushing and cleaning the cooling system over and over when the problem disappeared, I was able to put ...

1999 V70 XC Oil Cooler Bypass (oil in coolant)
Aloha, I recently had a considerable amount of oil in my coolant tank. I isolated the problem by connecting the coolant hoses going to the engine oil cooler together and started the engine, the oil was coming out of the oil cooler tube. It would take about a week to get a new one as there are none o...

Re: oil in coolant

Re: oil in coolant
Not the oil cooler,I just got residual coolant from it. Can the turbo cause this? I just want to look at all the possibilities before I yank the head. I forgot to add that my gas mileage was also going down, went from 22 to 18.6 on 7 tank fill-up with identical driving conditions.
