If none of this works, check your mass air flow sensor. Mine went about a month ago on a 98 s70 and my car hitched and jerked while accellerating as well as idling rough.

Try the mass airflow sensor. I had a similar problem. Changed the plugs, wires, and O2 sensor . Mass airflow sensor fixed it!
