The front brake pads are loose. I did not believe this but there is a TSB with a new method or material to tighten the pad in the shoe.

The usb in the glove box can be fitted with a usb to gen 4 nano or ipod caple and it works like a charm. It is controllable from the steering wheel and the information is displayed on the dash. A perfect and easy and well integrated system.

I get 23 to 24 on the highway routinely. On long trips with cruise control I can get in the mid 24 range. I am very impressed by this tranny/ V8 combination and the overall smoothness and economy.

Have to chime in. A lot of MISinformation. Firstly, do you want/need an SUV? This is a yes/no question. Vehicles that are 2.5 tons and have three rows of seats are and should be in a different class than the 850 or the XC70. Understanding this and answering yes to the first question here is my take....

2010 XC90 with 27.5 K on odo. Bought New. Oil changes every 5K. I am about to embark on a 3500 drive. No towing ever. Should I change the tranny fluid? Vehicle is 13 months old and get 75% city and 25% highway with 25 K per year. Thoughts??
