Re: 1998 S70 GLT Flashing orange up arrow and fault code P0123
I have proper code reader, but, alas, it is defunct due to inability to upgrade software.

Re: 1998 S70 GLT Flashing orange up arrow and fault code P0123
Thanks much. Good info; figured it was a bit more complicated than merely a bad TPS, which have replaced to no avail.

1998 S70 GLT Flashing orange up arrow and fault code P0123
I can find no relationship between the PNP switch and fault code P0123, throttle position sensor issue. Do both of these areas need attention? They both popped up at the same time. I have tried rowing the "shift lever back and forth action" to no avail. Car seems to run fine although shift...

Re: Wondering what to do? 1998 S70 blown head gasket
Uodate: After completing head renewal and replacing head gasket, car ran beautifully for week or so. Then, suddenly will not start. Have spark, plugs are wet with fuel, air pump running fine. Compression feels fine when turning crank pulley. Fuel pump running fine (confirmed by placing jumper on fue...

Re: p0410 code
Oh, and I did unplug the MAF sensor; car would not start. I still get a strong squirt of fuel from the schrader valve when depressed. Car has 272,000 miles and FPR has never been replaced.

Re: p0410 code
Pump is working; I removed the FPR and placed a jumper between connector 15 and 87; fuel pump ran fine. I tried to start car with jumper in place but no start. So, can I assume that the FPR is bad?

Re: p0410 code
Thanks for the suggestions. If that is a valid method of determining fuel pressure, then, with ignition on, I get about 2 psi at he schrader valve on the fuel rail using a standard tire pressure gauge. That being the case, then what should be my next step to determine cause of low pressure - fuel pr...

Re: p0410 code
More grief; Have spark, have fuel pressure and plugs are wet with fuel after cranking. Replaced cam sensor due to failure of male plug from the sensor. Checked timing belt to see if it had somehow jumped time; timing marks are properly aligned. Recently completed head gasket replacement and having t...

Re: p0410 code
Thanks for the suggestions. I now have a worse problem; car will not start; cranks fine but no fire. good fuel pressure; no spark. Attempted to test cam position sensor; plastic male plug from sensor disintergrated when I tried to unplug it, So new CPS is needed. Regarding 1he 0410 fault....what abo...
