Re: Alternator or battery needs replaced? or both?
Thanks for the information. I will get the hydrometer and test the battery as you have stated. I am thinking it is the battery as well. It has a 72 month pro-rated warranty so I should be able to get a discount on a new one. I wont be able to get to it until next week probably, because this is my lo...

Re: Alternator or battery needs replaced? or both?
The battery is 3 years old and 1 month. The cables look to be original... so I guess I should replace those? Where is the recommendation to get new battery cables for this car?

Alternator or battery needs replaced? or both?
I am having an electical problem on my 850 R. I have found the drain on my battery was at first very high. It was the glove box light. i took that out and thought that I had fixed the problem. The car drain is now a normal .03-.04 when it is just sitting there not running. Now that I have fixed that...

Re: fuel coming out wrong hose at fuel pump. Broken FPR?
ok so this was a simple fix. I bought the FPR and that was not the problem. I know have one if anyone wants a used one. The problem was on the fuel pump. The little plastic tip inside the fuel pump, the orange piece, was plugged and not letting fuel in. I replaced the cap and perfect!

I replaced my fuel pump and accidentally switched the lines. Now the cars starts right but I think I may have ruined my fuel pressure regulator. I got the car to start and run after putting the lines on right. However, now there is fuel gushing out the wrong hose. It just fills up the top of my fuel...

I put a new one in but it is getting blocked with the way I put it in there. Here are my symptoms https://www.matthewsvolvo...

Re: fuel regulator checked, now what? still fuel problem
I have finally got to the junk yard. I bought a used fuel pump and two new fuel lines since I spliced the one going into the fuel filter to try an external check valve. I lowered the fuel tank just enough to get the new fuel line in and think I pinched it off when i put the tank back in place. I am ...

Re: external check valve on fuel line... vendor?
I do not recommend this guy. I bought from him for $69.95 shipped. It is a high price and I found it on other sites for around $40. Even ebay has them for much cheaper. Plus when I asked him for help on how to install it he was very rude.
