external check valve on fuel line... vendor?

Post by luckyirish7 »

I think we have found my problem, I need to add an external check valve on to my fuel line. Has anyone done it? Can you recommend a vendor and or help with how to do it? Thanks
If you want to read why I think I need it here is the link https://www.matthewsvolvosite.com/forums ... =1&t=34972

I do not recommend this guy. I bought from him for $69.95 shipped. It is a high price and I found it on other sites for around $40. Even ebay has them for much cheaper. Plus when I asked him for help on how to install it he was very rude.

If you have a 2000 I have my last one sitting in front of me and
I can ship it to you tomorrow
If you have a different year, what year and exactly what are the symptoms?

I found the problem I think... When i pulled the fuel pump out I found that the line in there had become disconnected. Now my problem is replacing the fuel line that I spliced. I put a new one in but it is getting blocked with the way I put it in there.
Here are my symptoms https://www.matthewsvolvosite.com/forums ... =1&t=34972

First I was not rude
I had no idea what you did or what exactly was wrong and I told you that.
Yet, you continued to ask me how to fix something that I did not know what was wrong or what you did wrong... so how can I give you an answer?
But yet you continued to ask me the same thing over and over
I'm glad you found the problem
