My cambelt was replaced 5 years ago, however I have only travelled some 15,000 miles since it was done. I think the replacement interval is around 80,000 mile. What are your thoughts in terms of when I should replace it, is the length of time the belt has been fitted an issue?

The storage area for the spare tyre of my V40 is letting in water from somewhere (no sun roof fitted), I have emptied the area to sponge out the water, but cant see where it is getting in. Has anyone else had this problem, and if so how can I address it please.
