Water ingress
Water ingress
The storage area for the spare tyre of my V40 is letting in water from somewhere (no sun roof fitted), I have emptied the area to sponge out the water, but cant see where it is getting in. Has anyone else had this problem, and if so how can I address it please.

Check the drain channels in or around the trunk lid, or edge. On my 850, these clog with leaves, and water is forced into bad places.
I don't know the anatomy of an S40, but the concept should be similar.
