Car has 200,000 miles - I have owned and driven the car for the past 10 years. In addition to the item's I listed above initially- I also replaced water pump, and timing belt, serpentine belt 2 years ago, new fuel filter a month ago, a Mid West ABS unit a few months ago.

Replaced new radiator- when reinstalling hole in fan shroud the intercooler doesn't line up about 1 1/2 offset- I can't figure out how that difference could be- I attached the intercooler and the radiator in what I thought were the only 4 holes possible-installed from the bottom -attached the 2 side ...

Your response confirmed that the issue may not be mechanical. The melted wires are highly suspect but are hard wired to the pump motor through the housing ...
