An E36 BMW tool, interesting. Someone here on MVS recently 3D printed a tool to fit the bushing, I'll have to find that. They posted the 3D files so you can make your own.

I thought I would post this quick way to change Volvo Subframe Bushings using the Schwaben E36 trailing arm bushing tool. This is available from ECS. If there are no rules against links I am happy to post it but you can search the name on google and find it.

Do you know which flywheel was used when they did the swap? If they used the newer flywheel then you have to reverse the polarity of the crank sensor wires. You can do this one of two ways. Physically push the pins out in the connector and switch them or cut the wires and reconnect backwards. I ...

Yup as others have said, you can peel off all the paint and roll with the aluminum look or you can paint it with bumper paint.
Make sure you get paint for bumpers, I believe it comes in a spray can since it can flex and won't crack when it dries. I repainted mine and it came out pretty good. Good ...
