HA! I did remove that bulb.... I also removed the CEL while I was in there.

Fortunately before I re-assembled the dash, I plugged in the cluster to check that all the illumination lights worked. Two of the bulbs had to be jiggled to light up......Sure glad I discovered that before re-assembling ...

FIXED IT! :)

I was not holding the button down for 5 seconds after the confirmation, therefore the program was not "sticking"

1995 850 odometer gear replaced, now recording in Kilometers not Miles.
SO, I replaced my odometer gear and now my cluster records the mileage in KM not miles.
I reset the mechanical odometer and the digital trip meter at the same time and the ratio is exactly 1.6096 : 1.
