Re: S80 4 dr 01 sunroof is leaking and rattles badly
My sunroof is rattling too, although with the shade closed its barely audible. I took off the plastic liner on each side and tightened the 4 torx bolts (which were already pretty tight). It still has play in it. Is there something else I should look for to repair or am I gonna need to replace the wh...

Re: Oil in turbo air pipe
A little update. I got the oil return pipe oring and gasket installed yesterday. I am now leak free. The old pipe had no gasket on it. Cant believe it wasnt leaking from there. Did a nice hard drive today and everything looks good. What a pain in the ass though. Thanks for all the info.

Re: Oil in turbo air pipe
I def have an external oil leak. There is oil on the bottom of the oil pan. The return line pipe on the drivers side is black instead of the silver color as it is covered in oil.

Just curious, can I leave the heat shields off or should I really put them back on?

Re: Oil in turbo air pipe
i was just looking at a diy on Bay 13 im assuming for a single turbo car. Does my T6 still have the clip that holds 2 pipes together or just the 2 bolts from the flange? I cant see anything and im hoping it is just the single line with the 2 bolts. The Diy on Bay 13 is for a v70 i believe. It defini...

Re: Oil in turbo air pipe
Is there a walkthrough somewhere? I dont wanna screw it up and maybe make things worse. Cant check out the video as im on a mobile and it wont allow it but yeah I definitely dont wanna leave it long. If its not too hard would rather do it sooner myself than later at the dealer.

Re: Oil in turbo air pipe
i got my car into the shop today and they told me it was the turbo return line o ring. The mechanic was complaining about how he was going to do the repair. Might have to remove the cat to get to it and quoted me somewhere around 4 hrs. to complete the job. I am having a hard time justifying the 4 h...

Re: Oil in turbo air pipe
I am questioning if it is the pcv system because as I said there doesnt seem to be any pressure pushing the oil out. Is there another place I should be looking for a pretty bad oil leak?
