Ok , I pulled the number 1 plug and it was fouled pretty bad, and needs to be replaced which i will do today. For the meantime i polished it up with emery paper and got almost all the carbon off. Reinstalled and started car, still same thing spitting sputtering on idle and under power. So next i dis...

I don't have my repair manual with me at work right now. If i am standing in front of vehicle facing engine compartment, where is cylinder 1 located ?

Ok, thanks I will pull # 1 plug and check it out, clean it up and regap if neccesary to see if i'm getting spark and solve that problem. And then I will disconnect mass airflow sensor while at work and drive for a few miles as I work in middle of nowhere and see how car behaves and get back to you. ...

I have a 1996 Volvo 850 Turbo, its been running fine up until last night. Temperature last night was 28F. But last night I jumped off my mother-in-law's truck. I have a 96 850 turbo that needs a ecu not the transmission control module but the engine one which this appears to be, what numbers am i looking for to make sure it matches mine ?

on mine i had 2 red cables on the first nut (closest to radiator ) and a green wire that connected to spade connecter and on nut closest to motor just the small braided ground wire ? is that right ?

yeah i have a can, i wonder if the ECU is to blame for my issues, since replacing the starter I can turn the engine over but it never will start. Checked for spark and am not getting any. so remove using instructions provided earlier and i can clean using electrical contact cleaner to clean deposits ?

Ok, I didn't feel comfortable messing with the fuel injectors by myself so my friend is coming over today to help determine if they are firing. But I did change out the cam sensor last night just to see, and still no spark. Question is what else can cause me so much trouble getting spark to my spark...
