5cyl, thanks for your input! i am thinking it may be somthing to do with the strut mount bushing? maybe. i hear it when there is load / compression on the strut. its not loud, or ofen. it just comes when i am going slow out of a parking garage and make the turn out of the garage and the driving surf...
