Re: 2011 XC60 Dash Lights Go Out Intermittently
The solution to this problem was to have the dealer replace the light sensor on top of the dashboard. It controls the dashboard lights dimming at dusk, and was defective. Apparently was an easy fix -- just popped out of its location, not requiring removal of the dash.

Don't know for sure. I thought that might be an issue. What I've tried since I posted my initial question is to use the 2nd key for the car -- it's one of those that provides keyless entry and start, and operates individual memory functions for the seats, radio, and climate control. Car Key Memory and auto door unlock.
Does anyone know how to make this feature work correctly? We have enabled "car key memory" in Sensus using both fobs, and the seat and mirrors will sometimes erratically switch to position 2 when parked, locked and restarted and driven by person with fob #1. Fob #2 memory function doesn't ...

Re: Anyone have a new XC60 with pedestrian detection?
We have this feature, but have only owned the car for about two weeks, so are not sure if it has deployed -- I think the pedestrian has to be pretty close to the car for it to become active.
