ok...how long will it run like that?

I bought a 2002 Volvo S60 about 8 months ago and have been having a really weird problem. I turn the car off and take the key out. go inside and have come back out a couple times to find the air blasting in the car. I put the key in and turn it then the air goes off. his has happened a few times and...

I have a 2002 S60 that the side signal light (the one just infront of the door) on the passanger side that has come out and is hanging off the side of my car. Is there an easy way to fix this or do I need to take it to a bodyshop? The light itself is still working but it is just hanging there.

yeah...i understand my buddy is a mechanic and a pretty good one he just has never heard of a flame trap box like the dealer told me... I found out it is part of the breather system so we are looking to replace it ourselves. Thanks for anything you can do to help.

I am looking to find a picture or sopmething showing where this part is on a 2002 S60. I had the dealer tell me that I need to replace it but can not afford the labor cost so I have a buddy that is going to help me get it done. Thanks for anything you can do to help.

ok...thanks...I just wanted to find out the cost of the part and what the avg. cost to replace it would be. I just told you what the dealer told me and put on my receipt/analysis. Thanks for any advice.

I just got home from the dealer about my 2002 S60...I was told that I needed a new flame trap box (along with other things) but i can not seem to find anything about this on the internet. Any help would be great. I think the dealer is trying to rip me off. Thanks

I unerstand that but if there is a recall on the part I would want it replaced so that the chance of it going bad right after the warranty is eliminated.

can I tell then I want it replaced even if they say they don't think it is causing the problem?

sorry forgot to say that...it is a non-turbo with about 110,000 miles.
