I'm selling my 2000 V70 SE Auto. Green, 198k miles

Sunroof
Leather
Alloy wheels
Heated Seats
Heated mirrors
Climate Control
Etc
etc.

The only little problem is..... it won't engage 3rd gear.
You can still drive it, build up speed in 2nd, let the revs drop and it will engage 4th and then ...

I'm trying to find out if anyone has towed a V70 FWD Auto with all 4 wheels on the ground ?

We've just bought a Winnebago motor-home and are trying to find the easiest options to bring the V70 with us.

I've looked into the dolly towing, but think the 4 down / flat towing would be easyier ...

I found the issue ! took the unit apart and found the black belt from the tape unit at the bottom of the radio so I ordered a Sony MEX-N5000BT http://www.crutchfield.com/p_158N5000BT ... ml?tp=5684

2000 V70 SE The tape part of the unit used to work ! but now when I put the tape adapter in the units just ejects it instantly. The CD part works fine as does the radio.

All ideas very welcome ! this site had save me $$$ is the past.

Hi All,

I've got a strange problem today ! The rear wiper has stopped working. (not that strange you think)
But when I turn on the wiper and then open the tailgate (about half way) it starts working !

Any Ideas ??
( sorry if this has been covered - I did search for it ! )

I had to get the transmission rebuilt. All working now.
4k and a 3 year warranty.

It's now not making it 2 blocks from cold. AHHHHHH

Looks like a rebuild or scrap the hole thing

Well the doc says it's shot ! and he's been quoted 4k to rebuild it, it comes with a 3 Year or 50k Warranty..
it's a AW55-50/51SN ( if that helps )

Do you think this is a fair price ?

Been thinking of trying to sell it and get something else, but am i just going to run into the same issue again ...
