I have same problem. HB dash light comes on during pre-start test, but not with HB HB Switch itself checks good. Still no joy in grounding the yellow HB light - dash bulb will not go on. I changed from stock 15in steel wheels to stock 15in mag alloy 6 spoke wheel for 1996 850.

[Q] Can the stock studs for stock steel wheels be used on the mags?

They seems to fit and tighen fine - just checking.
