Sorry for double posting but I doubt this would be seen in the original thread, after repairing a possible fault with my alarm sounder I am told to reset using the lock/unlock 3x procedure

How is this done ?

Could be the linkage but the problem does go away after the first few gear shifts, there is noticable drag or slip from the clutch
