Thanks, I've thought about it (lots!) more and will try that next time. Which will be soon as I can't get away with using the old rotors so I've bought some new ones from Volvo and will get around to installing them in the next week or so.

I did the front pads on my S70 on Friday, for the first time, and all went well EXCEPT for the bloody re-installation of the retainer springs! Probably as a result of our summer in Florida heat, the 'leather' on my door panels has bubbled and is coming away from the door. I presume this is the glue used by Volvo(?). Do I just take it to a body shop and they know what to do to fix? Or is there any way I could do it myself?

I had a suspicion my speedo may have gone on the fritz as part of the ABS problem. I'll get the ABS module first, then see if the problem persists (suspect it will )

Ask a motorcyclist what they think of a Volvo! For some reason, all the bike forums I visit all whinge about Volvo drivers. I am quiet about what Idrive when I'm on those sites:-)
