Highly recommend VIDA. If you can find the one that installs in a virtual machine it is easier to install and generally more reliable.

I did one side on mine (XC70) and didn't have to cut anything. Was fairly straight forward. Why are you replacing? Are they noisy? Do you have access to a manual?

Engine surges every 5 to 10 seconds while idling with the AC on. Not a lot, but enough to notice. No check engine lights or any other indications that anything else is wrong.

Any thoughts?

Popped a wheel and measured it.

My 2009 xc70 with a 3.2 has 316mm rotors.

It looks like there are 3 different size rotors available for the 2009 XC70. Is there a way to determine the size without removing and measuring?

-300mm
-316mm
-336mm

I have not replaced my front wheel bearings yet.

I'm chasing a similar vibration in my xc70. It's hardly noticeable, but once you notice it, you can't un-notice it.

-replaced tires and wheels (I have a second winter wheelset)
-replaced rear shocks
-replaced front rotors
-one rear wheel bearing

The rest of the exhaust is OEM. I think original and not leaking.

I should add the car only has 78K
