will the brakes work if you use girling pads with bendix calipers? I'm having new front rotors and pads on a 87 760 turbo that I bought 6 months ago I want to make sure the previous owner did npt mix one with the other. I know very little about cars.

I purchased my 87 760 turbo about 6 months ago it been sitting of and on for about 5 or 6 years.I want to replace all 3 belts one mechanic wanted $110.00 another wanted $30.00. Is replacing those belts very hard or complicated. Where would you buy them from

Thanks jimmy57 for your very in depth response to my problem.I will take your advice but I ke will trying to lessen the noise, I'm thinking about changing my from 10w30 high mileage to10w40 high mileage oil will this help. I think the old girl has too much dignity to ride around like that without me...

I have a 1987 760 turbo with a noisy engine, kind of loud when cold not as loud after running awhile a guy told me to try a product called Blue Devil in the engine.
Has anyone had any experience with the product.
