my 94 850 turbo has obd II also, in front of the shifter under the "coin holder" i plugged it into my dad's snap on MODIS and it gave me codes, went into engine data and the data was about 7-10 seonds lagged, ( rev it to 2000RPMs and the data wouldnt show 2000 for 7-10 seconds)

might be worn turbo oil seals, mine smoked pretty bad before i changed the oil catch box (forgot the actual name of it), replaced it along with all the vacuum lines and all better now.

with the turbo seals, could someone verify my thoughts on this?

I recently bought a turbo wagon(with ECC), the old blower motor was bad, so i took the one out of my non- ECC N/A wagon which worked in that car. I placed it in the new car hit the switch... and nothing. I checked the voltage at the harness, read 9 volts, now here's the weird thing. It read 9 volts ...

(used car i bought in Jan 2012) work in this post was done in Feb. 2012
replaced oil separator
cleaned all intake hoses
replaced thermostat
replaced front tires
replaced right front outer tie rod
replaced every vacuum line
oil change
cleaned "ptc" (valve near turbo in intake tube)
lubed sunroof ...

about an hour of labor or so, my family's shop usually charges about 50-60 for a full smoke test.

I had the same problem, i bent the arm slightly and it went back to the streaking again a week later, so i bought a new set of napa "curves" they come with an adapter that adds about 3/4"-1" of height to the wiper, the arm is now pushing more onto the windshield and it's much better.
