Replaced the hose...but it still resists to rev to red line smoothly. Replacing the hose improved off idle performance and better mid range acceleration due to higher boost in that range, but it still stumbles in the higher RPM area at wide open throttle. How would I go about checking the following?...

Found the pressure hose coming out of the top of the turbo has a split in it, probably due to the high heat in the area. I'll go get one from the stealership tomorrow.

I just picked a 2001 C70 Convertible and figure that a strut tower brace would help the cowl shake. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to source one reasonably? Are there other model Volvo's braces that would fit this model?
