Looking for strut tower brace

Post by ateague »

I just picked a 2001 C70 Convertible and figure that a strut tower brace would help the cowl shake. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to source one reasonably? Are there other model Volvo's braces that would fit this model?

Welcome to MVS!!

IPD Volvo sell great suspension parts and they have a very nice strut brace. Be sure your C70 also has the lower supports under the engine which add torsional strength to the front end. A crash repairer or mechanic may have removed them and not replaced them when doing repairs.

As far as the strut brace: http://www.ipdusa.com/products/6520/114 ... -p80-black

The 850s can have the body braces fitted as an option. This is what they look like:
