I have installed Vadis on my Notebook PC. Is there a way to attach the computer running Vadis to the car to read the codes.

I have the radiator fan hot wired to the battery, if that has anything to do with it.

WHat does this mean, and how do I repair?

So I bought myself some equiptment, put the car up in the air, took off the shroud under the radiator, filled it with oil, turned on the car and oil came flowing out around the oil ...

I got it up in the air. It seems to be coming from around the oil filter

Filled it with cheap oil. No leak. Turned it on. And a flood came out from under the area where the radiator is.

What is in this area that would blow oil everywhere when turned on?

1994 850, with about 20,000 miles on rebuilt engine. The car was overheating until I fixed the fan. Now the temp. is OK.

Saturday morning topped off Oil, it need two quarts. Then Sunday night my son calls and says the oil light it on, adn he saw some oil on the ground.

What to do?

will i do any damage if I hotwire the radiator fan to the battery with a switch inside the car?

Also How do I check for power TO the fan
